Business Honor Society Recognizes Arkansas Capital Corporation Exec
The College’s Business Beta Gamma Sigma chapter recognized Chief Operating Officer of the Arkansas Capital Corporation Group, C. Sam Walls, as its honoree Nov. 29. Walls is a 1969 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History. Upon graduation, Walls was diverted from his planned path of a career in the field of law when he became associated with Dillard’s Department stores of Little Rock, AR. After seven years, his entrepreneurial spark was ignited, and he embarked on a lifelong path of serial entrepreneurship, economic development, and entrepreneurial education and development. For nearly 24 years, Walls has served as the leader for Arkansas Capital Corporation and eight additional companies created under his leadership. Now known as the Arkansas Capital Corporation Group, these companies are active in lending, venture capital, youth entrepreneurship, investment tax credit Incentives, foreign investment, and internet adoption and availability for the citizens in Arkansas.
