Meet Becka Webb, VP
Get to know Becka Webb, HRF Vice President, as she gives us a peak into her life at work and at home. We are thrilled to have Becka on the team. She gives her all every day of the week and contributes greatly to the success of Arkansas Capital and its clients.
Q: What does a typical work day look like for you?
A: I don’t really have a typical day, which keeps things interesting. One day I could be working with a potential borrower on a tax credit application or working with our office in China and the next traveling the state visiting our borrowers. We wear a lot of hats in our group so every day is different.
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: Helping companies in Arkansas grow and succeed is so rewarding.
Q: What inspired you to work in this field?
A: I’ve always been interested in economic development and with my background in finance and economics it was a good fit for me.
Q: Why did you choose to work at Arkansas Capital?
A: I had always heard about Arkansas Capital and all of the interesting work that they do all over the state so when I saw the job opening, I jumped at the chance to join the team.
Q: How do you see Arkansas Capital helping to grow the Natural State?
A: ACC helps companies in Arkansas secure financing that they might not otherwise be able to be approved for. Helping small companies grow and hire employees is the backbone of our state’s economy and ACC is proud to partner with so many local businesses, banks and economic development groups.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: I love to spend time with my family, my husband Brian, son Guy and two dogs, Lily and Ford. I like to knit and am an amateur photographer. I spend a lot of time volunteering at my son’s school, Forest Park Elementary.
